INTERNATIONAL Training Institute has once again offered 100 scholarships amounting to K41,000 to the Grade 12 students  nationwide for next year.

Each scholarship for a certificate study program in information technology and business related technical skills is worth K4100 for the academic year 2025.

One of the ITI’s representatives announced this at the presentation during the Henganofi Technical Vocational Secondary School’s 19th grade 12 graduation ceremony on October 22, this year, where he presented of the awards to one of the grade 12 students.

He said 10 of these scholarships have been allocated to the grade 12 students in Eastern Highlands and Chimbu provinces.

He said the scholarship award covers the school fee and other incidental fees.

“The student will only go and study at ITI,” the representative said, adding that they look forwarding to rolling them out to the other secondary schools in the provinces.

The scholarship is the ITI’s leading community service.

The ITI has extended this scholarship awards in the provinces this year where seven of them were awarded to grade 10 and 12 students in Eastern Highlands and the other three to those in Chimbu.

The ITI Goroka campus is located along the Highlands Highway at Mt Sion just outside Goroka town towards Lae in Morobe Province and Madang.

The courses they offer to those trimmed out from the mainstream education system range from business development.

This include economics, Business studies, information technology, office administration, human resource management and others.

Its curriculum also includes practical training period with potential employers for real-time hands-on experience that also expose students to potential employment opportunities, which has a good success rate over the years.
