ITI's Road Show to the Provinces.The Marketing department had been tremendously carrying out massive marketing and promotions for the last three months in order to secure potential students and clients for 2010 academic year.There were three provincial visits between the month of September and November. The first area visited was Wabag and Wapenamanda in the Enga province. The province was visited by deputy marketing manager Mr. Toka Gaudi, Agent and Consultant Mr. Tsen Angau and accompanied by Project Manager Mr. Mack Pakao who knows the location very well. The purpose of the trip was to market the courses and also to secure an office space for ITI Distance Education Centre to be stage up there in Wabag or Wapenamanda. Government bodies, private organizations, schools and churches were targeted. Mr Toka Gaudi said ‘‘It was a worthwhile visit, we were able to distribute information's to meet the expectations of those seeking information on the courses provided at International Training Institute. Mack and Tsen were outstanding. Their level of communication, presentation and most of all is their character that made a huge difference to convince most people around the area. I must appreciate and thank them for their tireless efforts to make this visit a success.’’ There were two similar visits conducted but purely for promotional purpose only. Popondetta in Oro province was conducted by Marketing Officer Mr. David Daniels and one in Alotau, Milne Bay province by Toka Gaudi. Both officers have thanked the management for funding the trip Apart from the provincial visits the nations capital and rainy Lae ITI marketing team were on fire with presenting scholarship and dux awards for high and secondary schools. |
