ABOUT INTERNATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE's PORT MORESBY CAMPUS

The International Training Institute (ITI) is a private run Institution that is registered with the National Training Council (NTC) in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and it has been in operation for the last ten (10) years in PNG, basing most of its activities in Port Moresby, the Capital of Papua New Guinea.

Within these years ITI has grown in terms of the number of intake of students each year. The institution has so far held thirty-two (32) Graduation ceremonies since it started.

The institution is located in Badili, Scratchley Rd, Port Moresby. The International Training Institute (ITI) started in beginning of March 1999 in a small office space at Ori Lavi Haus in Boroko, Papua New Guinea. In its first intake it had 29 students and it has grown since then to have intake of approximately 2000 students in 2006.

ITI was then teaching Basic Book Keeping for Business and Basic Computing. The Course Materials have been upgraded to take up Certificate and Diploma Levels. Looking at the number of intake shows that the want of knowledge in Papua New Guinea is very high in demand, however due to the high costs and very limited spaces in tertiary institutions most people are left out in Education System in Papua New Guinea and worst of all, most could not afford to attend any of the privately run schools.
