Certified Practicing
Accountants of Papua New Guinea
The International Training Institute has
an association with the Certified Practicing Accountants of Papua New Guinea
(CPAPNG).
Under this association or agreement, ITI Students who apply and
undertake the ITI course; Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting (DIB MAC)
will be eligible to become student members of CPAPNG.
Students who
successfully complete the course Diploma in Business Majoring in Accounting and
wish to become graduate members of CPAPNG will be required to undertake a
higher ITI course called; Advanced Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting
(ADACC).
This course (ADACC) has been sanctioned by CPAPNG for their
registered graduate membership status. This means that a student who
completes the ITI Advanced Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting (ADACC)
may apply to site for professional exams with CPAPNG. After attempting the
CPA exams students can then be classified into two membership categories, which
are as follows:
Certified Practicing Accountant or CPA: For successfully completed
all the prescribed CPA exams; or
Accounting Technician: For having completed the Accounting Technician
Course which is a pre-requisite exam to the other professional exams.
