The History of the International Training Institute

The International Training Institute was co-founded by a long serving Academic, Professor Thuriappah Sentheyval, the first Managing Director and by his son Sentheyval Senthil Kumaran.

Specializing in the field of business, the Professor saw a need in establishing such an institution which could provide Quality and Affordable Education for the people of Papua New Guinea.

The Professors motto of: "Providing Quality and Affordable Education For Your Future" to realize his vision, has also become the motto of ITI, which strives to realize the late Professor's dream & vision.

This motto has stolen the heart of most Papua New Guineans who could not afford to attend any privately run schools and those that are unfortunate (Drop outs), feeling there is no more chance in life.

Now taking over the footsteps and visions of the late Professor Thuriappah Sentheyval, Mr. Sentheyval Senthil Kumaran (son of the late Professor) is now the Managing Director of International Training Institute. Mr. Kumaran being a strong believer in those dreams and visions is therefore advancing ITI more and more each day into becoming a unique and comfortable institute for all people in all walks of life.

ITI has created a second chance for the unfortunates and also ITI has become like bridge for students who are interested in furthering their education overseas.

ITI has also open up avenues with other Universities around the world so Papua New Guinean could study courses offered in those University without actually attending the Universities in person, making the studies become more affordable and convenient for many Papua New Guineans.
