Chairman Message

The International Training Institute (ITI) started it operation 16 years ago in a March 1999 at Ori Lavi Haus in Boroko.  We started with fewer than 30 students with 1 computer lab.  Our focus was to provide quality education at an affordable price.

We were one of the first institutes to implement 1 computer for 1 student in class and also to provide night classes.  This has lead to us to grow to become one of the largest private institutes in Papua New Guinea.  We had over 3,500 students enroll over 5 campuses in 2014.

ITI also was given full institutional accreditation with the Commission of Higher Education in May 2014.  The accreditation has been granted after 5 years of audits and reviews by the commission.  This has been one of ITI’s greatest achievements from moving from an institute to a higher education provider.

In 2015 we have launched our 6 centre in Alotau Milne Bay, offering distance program and some full time certificate programs.   We also hope to launch the 7 centre in Kiunga western province in 2015.

We are now embarking on developing our degree programs to be offered in the future.
